Covid 19

We have now reopened on a limited basis, by appointment only, for eye examinations and dispensing services. However with the need for social distancing and clean up time between customers we have a very limited capacity at the moment so we are prioritising existing customers and triaging before appointments.

When you attend for an appointment please wear a facemask and use the hand sanitiser provided.

Opening hours are variable at the moment but are generally Tuesdays and Thursdays 9.00-13.15 and 14.00-16.45, Wednesdays and Fridays 9.30-13.15 and 14.00-16.00 and Saturday 9.00-13.00. Our blog should give updated hours.

For your reassurance and safety as well as adopting cleaning and sterilisation regimens, our staff members are undergoing regular lateral flow Covid 19 testing and our optometrist was vaccinated against Covid 19 on 30th January 2021.

With the new national lockdown starting in January 2021, our understanding is that we will be able to continue for eye examinations, contact lenses and dispensing services during the period of the lockdown.
